Eggs packing centers
Our modern packaging centers ensure safe, high-quality eggs through precise sorting, UV disinfection, and careful packaging. Each egg is rigorously checked to meet quality standards.
Super Eggs owns two of the largest egg collection, sorting, and packaging centers in Romania, certified according to the IFS quality standard.
According to this certification, our customers are guaranteed the quality of both eggs and egg powder or pasteurized eggs.
These centers have high-performance technological equipment that ensures high-precision operations. First, the integrity of the shells is checked. If a very small crack is detected, even in the order of micrometers, the egg is removed to category B. The equipment can also detect and remove eggs that show signs such as: traces of blood inside, dirt, or stains.
The eggs are sorted by size at the centers and, after sorting, they enter the UV disinfection area.
After sorting and disinfecting them, some of the eggs enter the packaging area where they are packaged in 6 or 10 eggs boxes or in 20 or 30 eggs trays, the eggs being separated in red and white and by weight categories. The packaging materials ensure the integrity of eggs during storage and transport.
Another portion of the eggs sorted at the Super Eggs collection and sorting center (both category A and category B) are transferred to the pasteurized egg factory, depending on market demand.
